This sub-update has the following changes:

  1. Robotic Arms: Finally, we can pick up radioactive drums! Thanks to the Lab of the Mutation of Toxicology, we now have robotic arms that can grab both living and non-living things. These arms are sure to come in handy, especially when we need to clean up some toxic waste. Of course, they also use up battery life and weigh down the sub, so we'll have to be careful not to overload the ballast tanks.
  2. Down Periscope: This is a must-have upgrade for any sub that wants to be able to see what's above the water. In very specific conditions, the sub may be unable to surface completely, so having a periscope is essential. There are no disadvantages to having a periscope, so it's definitely worth the investment.
  3. Deep-sub lights: These lights are sure to come in handy, especially when we're exploring the dark depths of the ocean. But be careful what you wish for, because you might just see something you don't want to see.
  4. Double Antennae: Because one system is never enough. These extra antennae will help to keep the sub's atomic clock accurate, even when we're in the middle of the ocean. And as a bonus, they'll also help us to pick up more radio signals. But don't worry, we won't be able to hear anything important, because we'll be too busy listening to the sound of our own antennae flapping in the water.

There are a few more changes to the original design:

  • Double Secure Open-Top: Because we all know that crazy people are always trying to open things that they shouldn't. So we've added a double layer of security to the open-top of the sub, just to be safe. Of course, if someone really wants to open it, they'll still be able to. But at least we'll have a few extra seconds to escape before they do.
  • Patch Work Kit: Because even the best subs can take a bad hit sometimes. So we've included a patch work kit in case you need to make some emergency repairs. Just be careful not to use too much glue, or you'll end up with a sub that looks like a patchwork quilt.

Look out for the next sub-date for things that don't kill you in the deep. 😵
