Indie Jones is a pixel animation game about Nathan Kuruna, an indie documentary film maker who is running a campaign to help fund his movie. In collaboration with the talented game programmer Sean James Mckenzie, this game was made as a branding medium to drive gamers to help generate revenue for the documentary.

Want to know more?... keep on reading.

Last August (on Clock Day, 2009) a few of us Newgrounders had caught up with Nathan, who was making a documentary film on the Interbutt and the impact of newgrounds. The big picture is Nathan was making a documentary on all of us users and contributors of Newgrounds.

Sean and myself decided that we got to be a part of this big cog wheel and work on getting the message out there to other fellow newgrounders to help Nathan make his documentary.

Read all about the development that went into this game here and here

And dont forget to help out by clicking on the ads' or donating some monies! Enjoy :D

New game needs your help, Newgrounds!

This was my first trip to the Con to catch up with The Behemoth and finally get to meet Tom and Dan, creators of Castle Crashers and other awesome games. Tom had a lot to talk about the future of Newgrounds and I must say I'm super excited!

An early ride to San Diego with SeanJames got us there just as the show started. We tried scouting the whole place to see all the booths, but that place was way bigger than E3 or GDC. All under one roof. Got to play a good game of BattleBlock Theater and get a feel for it. I have to say it was a blast! We got to meet few other NG fans.
The other highlight was getting to meet Bill Plympton, Kelly from the Behemoth and Michael Swain (from The Swain). We missed Graham Annable from Puzzle Agent, Luis and Tomamoto

One of my favorite modes in Castle Crashers is "All You Can Quaff" and I just logged on to The Behemoth Blog to find out that Kelly had just released screen grabs and youtube video on the New Castle Crashers mode called Volley Ball Beatdown.

It's an 8 player game that (I believe) can be played locally (4players) or though XBLA/PS3.
Really liked the way the game's background is integrated into this mode and how the environment affects the game play. Though no release date has been announced on when this is expected, I should say that PS3 owners will love this game, hands down.
